    Hey dudes,

    so im venturing into the world of piano playing, still keeping guitar as my main bae... narrowed it down to 2-3 digital pianos. my budget is more or less 500 pounds.

    Went into the store today and saw a casio px760 on sale from 629 to 500. comes in a nice fancy stand already. the touch was lovely (although im new to this ....) and i do mean the weighted keys. compared with the roland f50 and while the rolands bass is just a tad nicer, the casio was really an all around package.

    Looking for any gripes before i pull the trigger.

    anything bad about casio?

    about the piano i chose?

    thanks guys:wavey::agreed:

    I'd like to add the suggestion to maybe look for a newer used keyboard which might get you more for the money you're looking to spend.

    This is kinda unrelated to the topic but do any of you guys know any keyboard that can emulate the classic fender rhoads sound?

    I used to have a Yamaha digital piano that had two classic piano sounds, a Rhodes, a vibraphone, and a couple of other quite useful sounds. I would venture a guess that probably 80% of the digital pianos out there will have a Rhodes tone built in.

    Do you already have an interface with midi? Maybe consider a midi controller instead?
