    Hey fellow gearheads,

Interesting question here - I'm trying to figure out which of these two machines (or something else?) would be a best fit to be used with both my guitars and my keyboards/synthesizers.

I'm especially interested in that second part. I know both of these machines can do well for guitars, because both of them have the ability to load impulses, but what about for synths?

    Anyone here have any experience?

Using the synths in my Axe 2L a lot and I'm very happy with the results I'm getting.

Just so I'm clear, I'm saying running my synthesizers into the Axe / Helix, not using the "synth" settings on either unit

I run guitar, bass, and synths through the Helix and couldn't be happier in all aspects. I even have the Helix set for some midi controls to control ableton hands free.

Helix has more bass models, that would help it to deal with the range of a synth properly.
