'Ello folks! I'm looking to change the stock bridge pickup of my newly acquired Mike Mushok baritone.

Never dealt with the spacings and such, but Bare Knuckle offers the standard spacing (50mm) and F-spacing (53mm).

I got my ruler out and measured from E to E, which was around 51mm give or take.

I'm a bit confused whether to go with the standard or F-spaced variety of my future pickup.

Oh, and I'm still not completely sold on one either. I was gonna' get a Juggernaut, but I'm slightly torn between the Jugg, a Painkiller, maybe even something completely different like the Black Dog. (I'm going for low tuned, G and lower, filthy Nu-Metal type stuff, but I don't mind a certain tightness and clarity here and there). Perhaps you guys can help me out on both dilemmas.

    Cheers!

Standard or F-spaced will sound the same, it just comes down to the strings lining up over the pole pieces or not. I'd go with whatever I can find cheapest

This old thread seems to think 53mm is the one and people seemed to like the Black Dogs. :yesway:

Simply put, F-spaced generally deals with tremelo systems. The poles are spaced just a hair wider than standards. Either would work because your still close to the poles. The poles might just not line up perfectly with the strings.

I've never used bare knuckles so im not exactly sure. According to your measurements id get the standard size.

Also, would my PRS require long or short legs for mounting?
