    Wondering why don't we have one of these? Like say someone comes across a website that is selling off strings with free shipping or if any other place is selling a certain guitar for less than the normal street price to move it. A place like this could also include the hot auction thread. It could also work is someone finds something on craigslist locally.

    I don't know, the hot auction thread covers most of that I'd think. Also, if they were to implement this, you'd have people bumping up threads from a guy who sold something on Craigslist 4 months earlier. It would just be a mess.

    It's obviously not up to me, I'm not a moderator, but I think that would just be a stretch. Also as a dealer, I can tell you that 99.9% of stores cannot legally advertise any products below the street price. So I'd think occurrences of seeing online stores selling stuff below MAP would be extremely infrequent.

    Just my 2 cents, no disrespect intended.

    ^ Good point(s). I guess I thought it would be a benefit but never saw it that way.
