What kind of military grade-case is that for the 8?

SKB i-series I think, Todd from TK instruments uses them as well. Loving that 9 and Matt's spalted 8, totally playable. The other two 7's look like showroom pieces, I'd be scared to touch, so many differences with the same shape, artistry.

Wow, yeah. Going back I totally see that now!

I think for some reason it's the foam in the case giving that effect mostly.

    Looking good mate!

I really like how you have the extra large logo, it's a great look. The bonus of having a short name!

It's ironic to me that out of all of the gorgeous instruments pictured the only one with straight frets is the one with the most strings!

Especially because I think Dan is the best in the world at fanned frets - both regular fans and his brilliant e-scale innovation.

    Oh well, it's a beautiful 9-string nonetheless!

I absolutely respect your choice and on second thought my whole statement on Dan's expertise at fanned fret designs also makes him the best builder for choosing an ideal scale length to balance all 9-strings for you. :yesway:

Rest assured that your 9 elicits every bit as much envy and drool from me as any other Oni, and I'm sure I'm not alone on that!

I hope you'll post more pics of it when your receive it :agreed:

Ive learnt to trust whatever idea he has for builds, I like when he said to me about custom builds not locking in specs doing them as we go because he likes to get a feel for the build

How could it not continue? I'm pretty confident in saying that Oni is one of the most well respected custom guitar names on this forum. I've yet to play one, let alone own one, but we hear nothing but good things. A rarity, if you ask me. So yeah, this thread is slow by this forum's standards, but we all want the eye candy!
