I went ahead and started my own business :shred:
It's called Oni Guitars, there are 3 instruments confirmed including my 8 and Gojira's V.
Thanks to Gojira for the name and the massive amount of assistance.
Expect a website very soon. The focus of Oni is extended range guitars, so 7 or more strings, fretless, that kind of thing.
We'll see how things go, I suppose

Be sure to permanantly send me your 1st 8-string prototype and I'll give a thorough life long review.

    Good luck, bro.

I may just do something like that, only without the 'permanantly' and 'life long' bits
Unless, of course, there is a financial transaction involved. :agreed:

Thanks to all for the well wishes and encouragement, criticisms and that kind of stuff, you've all been a big part of my decision to get this happening :shred:

Nice to see people willing to go for it, and create their own business. It's the only true way to reap what you sow. (Damn corporations)

I wish you the best of luck. Running a business takes twice the work of a typical job it seems. Keep the faith, make quality stuff, add a dab of marketing (ok maybe allot), and you'll do well.

    Look forward to the website!!

Nope, I might not even bother doing the test, I could only test the neck pos in a standard 7 because of the string spacing on the bridge pos (due to the slant).
