So how many of you guys use Omnisphere 2? It's been on my list for like 4 years now. Obviously I would use it for ambience and really lush atmosphere and what not to fill things out. I do make beats too but right now am primarily focused on metal and stuff. Worth the investment?

It's certainly nice, but a lot of the things you can create with more generic sounds and effects.

e.g. Dream Piano = Piano with super long reverb and a really high mix level of the reverb.

I have it, and absolutely love it. Like you said, for "ambience and really lush atmosphere" it can't be beat. It was kind of pricey but I've gotten so much use out of it that the investment has been well worth it!
