Nope, scientist. Though I don't think profession is relevant to maintaining an opinion for 2+ years

It was pretty rad to have Daemoness x2 under the same roof! I blew two power tubes in that ENGL too, and it is brand new at GC (first time I've ever seen that in an ENGL, but a quick tube swap fixed that). I have used that cab extensively with my Ironball, and it really brought out the natural character of the guitars better than my Mesa cab. Fryette cabs sound awesome with the Ironball and Invader 150 too. I kind of was marketing the Daemoness brand besides trying out some high end amps (ENGL, Bogner, Deizel). I mean, you carry one of those outside the house and it's bound to invite questions. Lots of people checked out the new website that day :metal:

Cool that you nabbed the red one...I would have picked it up if not for that inlay. Oh, lord.....that inlay. Pun in-....ing-tended.

Definitely. ENGL cabs are not too popular but everything i have tried has worked out pretty nicely with those cabs and amps. Killer stuff man, sick as hell.

After seeing the unbelievable drama in the Vik thread, I am so happy that i didn't put anything into his guitars. Seems like for a dream custom build, a Daemoness is the way to go - Dylan is one of the few luthiers who keeps an intense line of communication with his customers.

Yo, I haven't been in here in a couple of weeks. I've ironed out some of the issues with the Gallery page of the website.

Also - grab your Daemoness t-shirts here.

Just got an email from Dylan that my build will be starting soon:hbang:

The waiting time wasn't actually that bad. I've really had time to research and think out what kind of guitar I want. I almost put down a deposit on two lutheirs who have now dropped off the face of the earth before I went with Daemoness.

Is Dylan going to post his off the peg builds in the store, or elsewhere?

Around the end of February/start of March 2012.

I don't think he would have any need to when so many people on Facebook are already looking to buy the World Edge Storm Cimmerian.

I believe his last FB post indicated they would go to eBay. Not because he wants to get an obscene amount for them, but because he figured that was the only fair and public way to do it....apparently, there's been a lot of interest via PM (myself included) and he doesn't want to make it seem like it was sold before it even went up for sale.

While I don't tend to like auctions like this for stock builds, I think Dylan's doing it in the most effective, fair, and transparent way possible.

Yea, it just sort of sucks that he has all the buyers' attention outside of eBay, so listing it there probably isn't going to get him many new buyers, but you still have all the associated fees. I can't think of anything more fair to do, but it just seems like a waste to throw ~$400 over to eBay and their subsidiaries.

Well, to be honest, I wouldn't be adverse to him:

    Listing it.
Closing the auction after the highest bid "wins."
Selling it to that bidder for the amount less the fees outside eBay.

I like this. If you just list at set prices I think anyone in the wrong time zone gets screwed

(opens email from Dylan titled "YOU ARE THE CHOSEN ONES", filled with instructions, and announcing my build will begin with this next batch. steps outside...)

Yeah, it pretty much feels like a call to arms :tdw::hungus::tdw:
No sh*t, I got goosebumps exactly like when a USARC operations chief from the Pentagon flew to my unit to tell us we were going to war. The end is nigh!

Eexxxxcellent.... is your batch like the land for misfit toys where all the non-Cimmerian orders go? In that case I'd be super excited: even if I'm all bland and ordered a rather standard spec'd Cimmerian this time around, I'd really like to see some new Valkenbyrds and Atlanteans.
