Call me a pessimist, but I would speculate that build times will stabilize where they're at now (~4 years) for the foreseeable future. I had a look for the latest Daemoness NGD and the last one I found was this - http://www.sevenstring.org/threads/ngd-daemoness-cimmerian-vii-new-year-new-green-guitar.318246/ where the dude waited 4 years. The closing of the list (to kill the wait times) was kinda offset by the troubles that Dylan ran into, and the brand seems to continually build popularity, for obvious reasons. While I find it mildly frustrating that I went in expecting a 2.5 year wait, I wouldn't really want to speed it up since the idea that Dylan is basically a one-man-show that has his hands on EVERYTHING (with the help from Barnes - who seems like a most excellent dude as well) is a big part of the appeal for me. I wouldn't want it a year earlier if he was shipping out necks to get fretted by his buddy in London, for example. I want that Dylan secret sauce, and unfortunately that means waiting.

^^ Perhaps, but there's one person (/scratch, 2 people) I would trust with telling me the expected wait times for a Daemoness guitar. Hint: they work at Daemoness Guitars.

I don't take people repeatedly dropping "5 years" as an expected wait time as anything other than an attempt to drive up desirability and cost of used Daemoness guitars. History shows that 5 years, if not completely unfounded, would be a severe outlier to his average delivery time. Similarly, I consider it poor form to discourage new orders by circulating 5 years as a reliable estimate of Dylan's build times. Which is why each time it's posted here I'll reiterate that I don't know a single build that stretched that far, I highly doubt the seafoam green one took that long, and mine were ~3 years or less.

Going back through my emails and timeline, with the delays of the shop surgery, finish delays, etc., it was only 2.5 - 3 years.

I've got mixed feelings regarding the S series style switch plate, but I must say the detail / inlaying on them is lovely.

The details guys, the details. The truss rod covers and switch plates are sweet. What a gorgeous batch of guitars. I'm looking forward to a few of the pointy axes Dylan has upcoming...

Yup! We are all the same batch and we discussed a few of our specs before we got to this finish line.
