Got the black tuners for my ARZ307, completing the "blacked out" theme. Considering pickup covers too for the Blaze pickups because i really don't want to change them out - anyone know where to get 7 string pickup covers?

oh yeah, New camera day too, first pics posted with a decent camera by me..

Tuners are generic, but seem to hold better than the stock ones so far.

What tuners did you use? Did they use the same anchor holes as the originals or did you have to make new ones? That has been the only thing holding me back from getting new ones on mine since the stock ones are so bad. I just don't want any extra holes in the back.

got them from ebay, bought these and these

I had to buy two sets, but at the price no worries. They are pretty cheap but stay in tune at least as well as stock if not better, just a bit more difficult to tune with the smaller knobs

oh yeah, same holes, totally plug n play, took all of ten minutes to swap 'em out

haha! - i totally ripped off the idea for the yellow switch from another guy on here, forget his name - he has the really nice chromed out ARZ. I do like it, nice little touch.

and i just may try the black one again now that the tuners are black - thought about matching yellow pickup covers - would be either butt ugly or killer

....yeah probably too much on that low B as it's wrapping over, but i do shoot for three winds on all but the low B, just looks tidy - and i've had good tuning stability with it.

Haffner - i was having mad problems with my G with stock tuners, better luck so far with these el-cheapos in that dept.

Yellow cover would give it a 80s/90s Batman look, which might be cool. Not sure if you can find spare covers though. (The only guys I know that sell covers are Bare Knuckle. But you'll have to order the pickups)

    Any soundclips available?
(as you may know already) I've bought (another) one, and will put a blaze set in it. (so we're good at ripping one ideas :D) and I would enjoy listening to some sounds. :)

Now, you just need to dye that fretboard white...or maybe silver

ha! That would at the very least be totally unique. I'm sure it could be done with some stick on inlays....

It looks much better with black hardware.

Ibanez needs to make a bariton MIJ version, and give this thing a maple cap.

    "Prestige ARZ7"

I like the sound of that.
