That thing is like 10 years old... Wow I just recieved a punch in the age right there. :(
Cute novelty, but don't expect to be able to find any games for it.

ebay! Actually gamestops still seem to carry many a GBA games, albeit they are kind of overpriced sometimes. ($30 for used pokemon firered/leafgreen still.)

The SP was/is still awesome! It's got a very small form factor and has the backlit screen and stuff. Good buy I say!

    GBA games I recommend:

    Pokemon fire red/leaf green
    Pokemon Ruby/sapphire/emerald
    Megaman Zero
    Golden Sun 1&2
    Advance Wars
    Metroid Zero Mission
    Metroid Fusion
Any of the Final Fantasy GBA ports. (they should have 1&2, 4 5 & 6 for sure)
    Final Fantasy tactics advance
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

That's all I could think of on the spot, sure there is more though. GBA had a good library.

do have plans on picking up LttP/FS since i loves ze classics
would have gotten final fantasy vi, but there was no fucking way i was spending about $40 on the game

Awesome! I def recommend Golden Sun, it's a turn-based RPG with puzzle-solving elements. No way I'd spend that much on FF VI either..at the most $25 for any GBA game IMO, and only if it were really good.

Another rep for Golden Sun, I had borrowed a friends GBA in the past and rocked those, very nice games.
