Hey gang, I was lucky enough to grab this Boden off of Noyan (of Carthage) a little over a month ago. He had it commissioned by Washburn, completed in July 2014. This was my first experience with any type of Boden, let alone ergonomic guitar, and I have to say it was a positive one. The Endurneck is by far my favorite neck profile now. I am curious to see how it feels on a 6 string. The fretboard is a dark wenge - very pretty and has an interesting feel. The Lace X-bars have a unique sound, and handle low gain distortion relatively well in my opinion. The only downside to this guitar was the finish. Upon close inspection, a couple areas had dust contamination under the clear. One little spec that was very blue and reflective, turned out to be a piece of glitter! I dug it out with a needle, resealed and wiped down with oil. I kinda looks suspiciously similar to a piece of glitter that would be found on one of the Chris Letchford models lol. I feel Washburn did not do the greatest job at prepping alot of these builds prior to clear, as I have seen this before on a few others around the web. All in all it is an outstanding instrument, and everything was built to an excellent standard (minus the finishing issues). I may sell it soon tho as I have a KxK 8 inbound. Also I would love to try one built by Ola. One day, perhaps soon. lol Thanks for looking!
