I was lucky enough to grab this Boden off of Noyan (of Carthage) a little over a month ago. He had it commissioned by Washburn, completed in July 2014. This was my first experience with any type of Boden, let alone ergonomic guitar, and I have to say it was a positive one.

The Endurneck is by far my favorite neck profile now. I am curious to see how it feels on a 6 string. The fretboard is a dark wenge - very pretty and has an interesting feel. The Lace X-bars have a unique sound, and handle low gain distortion relatively well in my opinion.

The only downside to this guitar was the finish. Upon close inspection, a couple areas had dust contamination under the clear. One little spec that was very blue and reflective, turned out to be a piece of glitter! I dug it out with a needle, resealed and wiped down with oil. I kinda looks suspiciously similar to a piece of glitter that would be found on one of the Chris Letchford models lol. I feel Washburn did not do the greatest job at prepping alot of these builds prior to clear, as I have seen this before on a few others around the web.

All in all it is an outstanding instrument, and everything was built to an excellent standard (minus the finishing issues). I may sell it soon tho as I have a KxK 8 inbound. Also I would love to try one built by Ola. One day, perhaps soon. lol

    Thanks for looking! :hbang:

Very nice man, kudos on the awesome photography as well. I see too many potato level pictures of nice axes too often.

Dig it; I think these look so much better with dark fretboards. Nice score man!

Waiting to see this KxK 8, though....

It has a chambered swamp ash body, yes. Maple top, Wenge and maple neck, wenge fretboard.

    That looks absolutely gorgeous!
Weird thing with the sparkle, but glad to see you cleared that out fairly easily.
    Enjoy!

Haha alright, guess this thread is alive now.

That camera wasn't anything special actually. Sony Alpha NEX-5N.

Think it was just good lighting that day!

I use a Panasonic GH4 now. Not the most beautiful camera for photography, but good enough for me

The photos really make the guitar pop. I remember when it was up on Reverb. I was a day too late...
