WOW! and that ebony fretboard is absolutely phenominal! never seen something that looks that smooth
Neither have I; confirmed that it's undyed too!
This thing slays all around! LOve the inlays and the neck man, Dylan got me interested, might put down a deposit soon and this isn't helping!
very HNGD, congrats.
Gorgeous guitar! I'm curious if you requested recycled ebony for sustainability reasons (if so, kudos!) or for pure "old world wood" reasons (if so, also cool). I want recycled ebony now too.
I wanted to be somehow conscious. Exotic woods are nice and all, but I had a sound in mind and built my timber choice around it; not a look. Ebony is the only wood in there which is at consequent risk, so I asked if they had something which wouldn't require a new cut.
That's awesome. Great choice
Hahaha how the heck did I read "Washburn"?! Homeschool just doesn't pay off.
Firstly gorgeous guitar, secondly props on your decision.
Merci y'all! I've not gotten much time with it yet, but she sounds INSANE. Harmonics and notes ring out incredibly easily.
It's liberating AND challenging at once to play it; you have to be careful and accurate.
It doesn't work towards making me a better player (oh boy do I need it!) but it also makes it more enjoyable along the way. A master instrument.
