I got it from axe palace then part exchanged it at GAK
I have a 2015 Sunset Custom 7 and it is amazing. I kept the Supercharger Mach 7 pickups in there...with the 27" scale it is very tight and responsive. I love everything about the guitar and that includes the neck joint. Some folks want it sculpted more, more AANJ, but honestly it is not in the way of upper fret access for me. I have very short and stubby fingers and thought it might be an issue but it's not. It is the guitar on the right in this pic as I didn't have a picture of just the 7 string.
As a bolt on type of guy, the new Merrow Pro looks awesome as well...just can't imagine it being any better than the Sunset 7 except for a little better access to the upper frets.
Me loves that california elite
I love the CCE too...the single coils are monstertones and they split really, really well. That guitar is my main workhorse axe these days. It is just rock solid and never has any issues. The clean tones I get on this particular axe are heavenly to me....and I had to get it because I always wanted that ESP Lynch has in the intro to his REH video and this was about as close as I could find without building one...and I am a hardtail guy in general so it all worked out.
@yan12 that blue sunset you've got is killer. Feel the same on the neck joint I'll take it anyday especially since I love bolt ons.
One day I'll hopefully get another Custom shop Schecter
Very awesome, congrats.
Yeah monstertones are quite something, ceramic single coils are usually very thin and sterile sounding, but these have a very full sound on their own and when split deliver lovely clear tones. I still wish Schecter made something warmer, sweeter in the top end and crunchier like the Suhr V60LP or Duncan Aps1 tho.
The Lynch you re talkin about is this one right?
Always loved it to death as well. Though your CCE has a shade of orange and a figure I prefer.
My soft spot for purple came out of nowhere and this is really pushing it. That's a beauty. Congrats!!
Everyone needs a purple guitar
I'm just lucky purple is my bands colour
You play in Deep Purple? Damn.
