    Hi guys,

I got my new Schecter SLS C-1 P in the mail yesterday.
It's the satin black passive model.

Man, it's just such a killer guitar.
It needed a setup out of the box but that's totally fine.
I put some Elixir 9's on it and BOOM, there ya go!

The weight is good, it's light but not as light as I had feared.
The wood has great resonance to it.
    I dig the pick-ups a lot.
In a metal setting it's quite easy to get a good Gojira-esque tone or Djent tones.
The coil splitting is nice and sounds pretty good.

As expected with an SLS the neck feels super smooth and thin.
    It plays like butter.

I owned the SLS C-8 once but I wasn't a fan of the skull inlay so I'm glad mine has the dots.

I made a video today with a short demonstration of this guitar in a metal setting.
Check out the first 1.5 minutes of this video to see and hear the guitar in action:

Sick tones. I played a SLS C-1 P in blue a few years ago and absolutely loved it. The Duncan Full Shred in the bridge was definitely a cool pickup, probably pretty underrated for a bridge pickup, I found it to be great for contemporary prog-metal and prog rock tones.
