I figured a bunch of people wanted to see this, so here are some mediocre pictures that do not really capture its magnificence:

    Family shot:

The guitar plays very well. The guys at DrumCityGuitarLand did a great setup on it with my preferred string gauges and tuning. No adjustments necessary out of the box!

This is my first guitar with stainless steel frets, the Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentinent set and with a Floyd 1500. I’m not really feeling the pickups too much, but will play with them more and adjust amp accordingly. If I end up not getting along with them, I’ll switch them out for an EMG 57/66 set or the trusted 81/60 set.

All in all, I’m very satisfied and the color is just gorgeous. The Schecter PT7’s have become my favorite guitars as of lately and this one switches up the flavors in just the right way.

Cool fact: This was a protoype for Wes Hauch, but then he went to Ibanez. I thought that was an interesting piece of information.

Also, a quick shoutout to Jason at DCGL. I ordered it Tuesday morning and she arrived Friday morning beautifully packaged with tons of goodies (I.e. picks, stickers and a shirt). Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a great guitar and fast service.

    Thanks for reading/looking!

And I will always love that tele shape.

Love the Abalone dot inlays. Works perfectly with the green.

Thank you! I’m curious about their pickups, but I’m very comfortable and happy with EMG’s haha. Only time will tell!

Happy NGD! Quite the impressive 7-string Tele selection you have there! Being that green is one of my favorite colors, your new fiddle has me GASing hard, and if it plays/sounds as good as it looks, it's definitely a winner!

Thanks! The bridges all feel great, but to me, excel at different things. I think the Floyd lends itself to lead playing best, the hipshot for chuggy and thick riffs while the tune o matic works best for big open and sprawling chords. It’s nice to be able to pick up whither one I’m in the mood for!

Very cool and congrats! I have a production model Wes Hauch PT-7 that I love and is currently my #1. I didn't know this prototype even existed..I have seen the sea foam green one but not this..interesting that it is neck thru and not an inline headstock. What is the scale length?

super cool, too bad wes left, otherwise we would have seen more of his original sig out in the wild and may have been blessed with this version as a MKII.

    congrats!

    Nice trio of Tele's :agreed:

Too bad for me that the Wes Sig didn't have a 26.5 scale. I'd have bought one for sure. I loved the spec's otherwise :metal:

Thank you! Maybe they'll come out with some different colors and/or specs when and if it is eventually released.
