Hello all here is my first proper NGD :D

I snagged this in a trade after falling in love with the Schecter SLS necks. I've owned a couple 7 strings and finally risked getting a 6 string and I can safely say after a short 10 minute play after a re-string it feels amazing and will be my main 6 after this!

    quick rundown of specs

    Model Name
    Blackjack SLS C-1 FR A Hell's Gate
    See-Thru Blue Burst (STBB)
    Set-Neck w/Ultra Access
    Mahogany body
    Flamed Maple Arched Top
    Black Multi-ply binding
    Maple 3-pc neck
    Ebony board
MOP Hell's Gate Skull at 12th Fret
    25.5"
    24 X-Jumbo frets
    Fretboard Radius 14”
    Ultra Thin ‘C’ profile
    AHB1 blackouts
    Volume/Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch
    Hardware Color
    Black Chrome
    Floyd Rose 1000 Series
    Tuners - Grover

I've never honestly played a 14" radius fretboard and it's fairly comfy for me. I just re-strung it with 10-52 NYXL Daddarios which stretched in very quickly too!

Only planned mods so far is to replace the trussrod screw as the previous owner very nearly threaded it >.> new bridge (tarnish on the bridge plus prefer original ofr's ) replace bridge pickup with a custom pickup I'm getting made paired with a sentient neck pickup. Not an active pickup fan anymore, love passives! remove the tone knob and move the volumes down and a little more out of the way. That will be done when the new pickups get here though :)

Now the gear lust is real and I'm tracking down and buying a 7 string version to use as a backup for my Custom Cilia because I've seen the wrong that can be done live and a backup guitar is a good idea :p plus so I can experiment with wacky tunings :hbang:

Nice I have a fixed bridge SLS in blue without that inlay and Dimarzio Titans. It has been my #1 for a while now :)

Checked one out at a store a few years ago and thought it was a great guitar, congrats!

Got Loomis once and that guitar slayed. Really, I was astonished that guitar for this price can sound that good. Schecter makes some really nice guitars! Congratulations! :)

I got the 2014 Loomis 7 string FR/S model and it's my main 7 at the moment! Schecter has really stepped up their game, I'm pleasantly surprised :D

Thankyou everyone!! :hbang: Glad Schecter is getting a lot of good praise lately, definitely well deserved
