I haven't bought a guitar in 10 years but I couldn't resist when I found an 'old' gem.

Picked up this 2005 Ibby RGA321F. It's still is good condition, bit of wear and tear, but nothing too major. Still looks gorgeous and that flame maple cap!! They don't make them like they used to. No whammy bar though

Almost pulled the trigger on one of these a few months ago, very sharp looking instrument.

It would be nice to see rather then the awful Iron Label models. They just lack any sort of finishing quality.

Looks awesome! Great color and flame on this one too. Really like my RGA121H CDO; haven't played a 321 before though.

You should. Is one of the best guitars around. And I don´t like ibanez. My favorites brands are esp/ltd and jackson. By the way I did try the guitar and is so nice. But too many cases in my house.

I had 2 RGA321F’s and 1 RGA121NTF at the same time. It really took an entire weekend of A/B’ing them before I could pick the tonal winner. They were really, really close. I honestly could have kept either of the 3 and been happy.

Well, it’s different from other Ibanez models I’ve played/owned (RG1570, JS1200) The mahogany maple combo just creates these really sharp bright highs, a Tried and tested wood combo, It works. I’m digging the clean tones at present, let’s just say they are not airy or bland! Especially with the switch at 4th position (I believe the Previous owner changed from 3 way to 5 way) and it just brings a whole sonic variation to the pickups. Speaking of which The bridge pickup can get slightly muddy on the lower strings when pushing the gain but nothing that’s a deal breaker.

I have a feeling that the neck is slightly thicker too then the usual wizards but need to confirm, could be wrong.

The Gibraltar plus bridge is lovely. Probably the best fixed bridge I’ve used. Action is extremely low and very comfortable.

What I like about it is that it’s different. It’s not your usual RG. If the RG550 is a T800 then this is the T1000.
Shame they discontinued these. It oozes quality. Would be amazing if they added a SynchroniZR trem to this model. Bet they would give those AZ models a run for their money.

Comes stock with the 5 way super switch and I’m pretty sure you are right... if memory serves the 321F neck is 1mm thicker than the standard Wizard shape.

Good to know it is in its original configuration!
Regarding the neck, still prefer the JS neck (much more of a vintage feel) just need to get used to it again. Haha!
