    Hi there!.

The last week I received my (currently) second Ran Crusher, a FT7 in Violet Burst finish. I bought it directly from the "In stock" Ran and it didn't dissapoint at all.

    The features are as follows:
    - 7 string flat topped
    - 27" scale length
    - Ash body finished in Antique Oil, quilted maple top finished in gloss Violet Burst, mahogany-wenge-maple neck, bubinga fretboard
    - Lundgren M7 pickups
    - Hipshot fixed bridge
    - Gotoh locking tuners
    -1 volume + 1 tone + 3 way toggle
    - Luminlay side dots.

The guitar is quite heavy : 3.945 kg (my other FT7 is 3.410 kg). It came loaded with 0.09-0.54 string gauge which is light gauge to me (I use to play with 0.10-0.64).
The feels on my hands is very natural and comfortable, even when the neck feels larger than my other 27" guitars, but I think it's because the body of the guitar is small compared to my other 7s.
The finish of neck is smooth and very soft under my fingers.

The overall finish of the guitar is flawless, as it should be on all the guitars in this price range. The only "but" can be the action set-up from factory, and buzzes sometimes, but also can be due the climate change from Poland to Spain, even when the relief of the neck seems to be correct after some days in my house. Anyway, I'll replace the string with my trusted gauge, so then I'll need to readjust the height of strings, neck relief....

The sound: The Lundgrens are a joy to play. Along with BKP Black Hawks, they're my favourite pickups. Full, energic and articulate with distortion, even with very high gain settings and warm and clear in cleans. As with my other Ran, my fav. selector position is the middle one playing with clean & reverb: very twangy and spanky sound. Delicious.

    And now, judge by yourselves taking a look to the pictures P_20171008_142655_HDR.jpg P_20171005_164652_HDR.jpg P_20171008_142808_HDR.jpg P_20171005_164858_HDR.jpg P_20171004_184142.jpg P_20171008_142754_HDR.jpg

Awesome guitar, the only flaw for me is the weight. My second Ran, the one in my avatar is also 3.800kg, which I find too much for my back pain problems. Plus it's my main guitar. However, my first one, no flat top and Swamp ash (also non Floyded) is 3Kg and I find it a lot more comfy.

If it was mine it would have white pickups and switch tip it would really make that lovely color pop.

Thank you guys. Yeah, the weight is not the best of its features, but still not as heavy as my Regius Gothic 7 baritone...
