I don't really like plain maple fretboards but bird's eye, flamed, and curly maple are ftw!

@orakle: The Häussels have Tons of gain, but they still keep a lot of clarity; very nice Bass/Low-Mid-Punch, lots of treble, I had to dial down the treble on my Amp (first time ever:)). They're very direct, aggressive and non-forgiving - you play shitty, it'll sound shitty, but that's how I like it.
I've got a Megaswitch on the guitar, you can even funk out on it, no kidding!

Looks great, very cool! I might prefer one with an inline headstock, though!

Loving the fretboard. A darker stained body or darker veneer / top would have been a nice contrast. It looks a bit uncompleted to me the way it is right now.

Beautiful in its deceptive simplicity, you could play anything you wanted on that and it would kill, reeeeally nice guitar!!

@fps: Deceptive Simplicity was what I was shooting for :), and it kills no matter what...!

@ibanez4lifesz: it's very bright, brighter than all my other guitars, but it's still fine; I wanted quick response and punch, I wouldn't have gotten that with mahogany (I guess, I discussed it pretty long with my luthier), especially as the body is a little bit bigger than the original Amott, thus having more mass and slowing the response.
Again, it sounds very bright and alive, me likey...the next one is already finished in my head, gotta save up some money first :)).

That's beautiful! Hopefully the slightly larger body also slightly counteracts neck-dive?

Looks balanced and wonderfully understated :)

@ShadyDavey: thanks to the body and/or the position of the Strapknobs there's no Neckdive at all. She just stays in whatever position you put her, very balanced Instrument.
