They're missing out big time not making these with Floyds, amazing mod my man. Looks extremely cleanly done as well.

If you ever sell it, you got a buyer!

    Sweet!

How'd they build up the locking nut shelf?

Hey , yes of course , these works are done by Bob van Dinther at my local shop Dijkmans Muziek Breda ( Netherlands) . He is their guitartech / specialist and luthier ; he does these kind of jobs for me ever since 1987 when he installed a Kahler in my Iron Bird ..
Went back to him with full confidence he'd pulled it off again ( he's done some amazing jobs aswell on 8 stringers too for me ) , I'm very Lucky to have such skilled guy closeby
    cheerrrs !

I've made a compilation for you with pics from the workingbench , after the neck/board job a little piece of maple was made , and later on some shims added to get the action exactly right ...

Man that guy did some nice work. Very cool.

I have an 8 string Tele I wouldn’t mind with a Floyd, but not sure it’s worth it to send to the Netherlands.

Too bad the cosmo black nut doesn't match the black bridge, otherwise it'd be perfect. Did you call Rich?

Ah , yeah the eastatics , well , I thought about all black hardware initially , and all new too , but in the end the black locking nut was not available anymore ( indo and japan versions ) , so we went for the black chrome one ...
This store is a prestige Ibanez dealer too and I know the guys at Hoshino Benelux , so I didn't need to check on Rich sofar ; I also have a good resource in the UK , who could have supplied me with one too though ...
Another thingy that came up when I got the guitar back was that the black chrome / cosmo black matches the M-logo ; stuff I thought of also was , swapping the Lo-pro from another guitar ( DCM100 maybe , the red with a black trem looks awesome ) with this one , or get me some black locking nut from some RG7620 ( i've got some ).
.. good one , forgot to mention this in the opening post , it was quite a thing allready as you see , cheerrs man !
