    Hey people,

My new Jackson Custom Select just arrived and it's the best guitar I've ever owned.

Specs are the same as a usual B7 but there's a few small differences:
    - finished in sonic blue
    - BKP impulse H/S set
    - Hipshot open gear grip lok tuners

I've also had it wired to my spec - dimarzio EP1111 3 way switch. Center position has the inner coil of the bridge and the neck which hum cancel. The coil split has a 510k resistor wired to ground so it doesn't sound bright and thin, it sounds as if it's wired to a 250k volume. There are two volume controls, a 280k for the neck and 550k for the bridge both wired independently (so if you use the center position and roll off the neck you'll hear only the bridge coil).

    Tuned to F, A#, F, A#, D#, G, C with 12-82 kalium strings.

Seriously can't put this thing down. I own a few other B7's, which are awesome USA select models but this one is definitely a cut above. It sounds pure evil

EDIT: also dug up some pics of my other B7's because why not eh.

One is seafoam green as mentioned but with a slight vintage tint, one is fiesta red with a slight tint also and the other is a black and white swirl.

Whatever image host this is really doesn't want the pictures embedded in a forum. Resolved!

    Sexy guitar, though. :)

Mac & cheese. I'd eat that.
    SNL. I'd watch that.
    This Jackson. I'd play that.

I'm not good at poetry, but tried. Awesome custom! What was the wait time on that if you don't mind me asking?

    I've had a seafoam B7 for a few years now too actually! This one's my 4th B7
The seafoam was my favourite before I received this one. Here's some pics and a video with it. I wanted to take pics of my whole collection for you guys but half my touring guitars are in europe at the moment and I'm on the other side of the world right now.

EDIT: dug a few pics up of my other B7's for ya see OP

Was only about 6 months for this but I'm not sure if that reflects wait times for the public. My rep seemed to think it would've come out quicker if namm didn't happen during the build.

Didn't realize you were the guy from Northlane. I watched your interview about kebabs and I just want you to know that I too love kebabs.

Drool worthy guitars that's for sure. I'm not a big fan of swirls but that black swirl is just perfect. The seafoam green looks like slightly different shades depending on the photo, ranging from more blueish to more greenish. And the sonic blue is awesome and the red is awesome. Damn all are awesome!

HNGD. Looks sweet. What do you like about these in particular? How do you find them tonally compared to others?

Holy ...., you know how to pick a sick axe, dude. I don't play 7's but I would shred the hell out of that B7.
