Got this used Ibanez Prestige RG2550E a week or two ago.
Before I was able to use it I had to set it up and bring it to a store to have the electronics re-done.
Turns out the previous owner had a strat selector switch in there which couldn't work with humbuckers.
    Anyway, it's a killer axe!
Love the feel of the neck.
I'd say that the neck feels a little bit thicker than my two RG2570's and my RG652MPB but it still feels fast and smooth!

I'm a fan of those Dimarzio IBZ pickups!
If I could change one thing I would make the bridge pick-up a little more cutting on the low strings.
The Edge Pro tremelo is also very nice, no complaints!

I made a video to demo this beast in drop-C#:

    Anyone else own one?

Exact same model I picked up a while back! http://sevenstring.org/threads/unexpected-ngd-mid-2000s-style-ibanez.326411/

My 2550 immediately jumped out as the most inspiring guitar I own to me. I have mine set up with 9s in standard, since all my other guitars were in alternate tunings or 7 strings, and I love the thing.

I'm a huge fan of the pickups actually, I think they fit really well for what I play, and don't plan on changing them.

    Enjoy!

I had a 2550Z with the Edge zero + ZPS in Galaxy white a long time ago. It was a nice guitar but getting it to sit at zero point was a bitch and a half without the knife edge rectangles. Glad you like your 2550E, I hope I can get a chance to try out that bridge sometime.

What's involved in zeroing those? I've only ever used conventional spring/claw trems

It's not the ZPS that's the problem, I mean we have Rich's guide on Ibanez Rules, but if you don't have that, you can never get it to exact zero point without knowing exactly what zero point is supposed to look like. The edge and lo pro have those little rectangles on the side which makes it super easy to see if you're at zero or not, the EZ doesn't.

Isn't the baseblate of the Edge Zero flat, letting you use it for reference (like the Edge Pro was)
