Hope you guys are having a great day, I sure am! This baby arrived today from beautiful Rome, Italy. I was absolutely stoked when I saw this online last week and I just had to have it. I've been looking for one for a couple of years now, searching all over and it finally paid off. A huge thank you to a Belgian fellow who pointed me in the right direction (Cheers Tom)!

So. This is an early JPM P1 from January 1995, the first limited run. You probably know the specs so I won't go into those in detail. Let's just say it's in an absolute mint condition, and it clearly has been stored in its case for a LONG time. The frets seem pretty corroded so I need to take care of those asap, otherwise the guitar is perfectly spotless. The weight is nice as well, around 3.3kg / +7lbs. The control plates and the truss rod cover even have the original plastics attached :)

The neck is pretty thick I must say! Very different from your regular Wizard necks. This one has a pronounced D-profile as opposed to some other JPM necks I've played earlier.

Since the sun was shining today here in Finland, I decided to take it outside and shoot a couple of quick photos. If you're interested, you can see them here:

By the way, any JPM owners hanging out here?

You're welcome buddy! ;-) Very nice catch! Almost regret not taking it myself, seeing as this one's also in great condition. Enjoy it!

JPM100 P2 owner reporting in... :wavey:

My '97 JPM is my main guitar, looks AMAZING on stage, grabbing all the attention! Quite lightweight, very snappy sounding. Most stable tuning I've ever seen. Neck on mine is thicker and rounder than a Wizard neck, and 42mm nut gives it a different feel. It's just delicious. Plays waaaaay better than my EBMM BFR Koa.

Previous owner changed the pickups to DiMarzio CrunchLab/LiquiFire, which I kept because they sound really well.

Enjoy your JPM, they're quite hard to find these days. HNGD! :hbang:

    Nice score!

I've got a P2, probably the only guitar I own that I would never consider selling.

    Luckiest bastard in this thread.

Nice score, OP, she definitely looks like she was a case queen. I love the JPMs; a P3 is definitely on my guitar bucket list.
