Thought I'd share some pics of this one I got last week thanks to Chris8's post on here.

I'm very jealous of this one. Great score! I think this is the best color too. Double creams would be my first move. Although I doubt many of the vintage PAF-style winders make 7 string pickups hahah.

It plays super smooth but I did have do a few tweaks on the set up. It not as heavy as I thought it would be either :(

Looking good! I was surprised by how light they are as well. I think the LP Classic 7 I've had are a bit heavier. I think I've had two or three of each for one reason or another, and still have one Classic and one Standard.

I wonder if the method of weight relief is different. Hard to say, but the two Classic 7s I've had seem to be snappier and brighter than the Standard 7s, but the Standard 7s are more resonant and warm.

I'm not sure if that's meant to be a compliment or an insult.

Wolfetone will, if you can find the bobbins. Cardillo does, too, and their parchment are pretty close to creme.

so they put better tops on 1100 euros 7's than on more expensive regular LP's...
    Gibson's logic amazes me...

That was a stupid cheap sellout. They used to cost 2,5 k or a bit less

That looks great. Great top and awesome aesthetics.
I was not planning on any new purchases but if I had seen the link before they sold out I would have went for one.

Love it. Somehow 7 string LPs look totally natural to me and I never would've expected it.
