    Hey guys,

Got my new LTD SCT607b in the mail last week!
I've wanted one every since they came out and I finally have one!

    This guitar is SOLID!
It's kinda huge but that was to be expected with the body type.
It's heavy and it resonates very well.
Right now it's tuned to drop-Ab and it obviously works very well in that tuning.
I'm using Elixir strings (standard set 10-46 with a low .68).
The action is set up really low so the frets are nice and even.

The EMG pickups definitely sound good in this guitar so I probably won't swap them out soon.
    I used to own a maple SC607b.
In that guitar the 707 worked a bit better but this one sounds so much more solid.

Anyway, here is a video a made today, hope you enjoy!

Btw, last week I had to choose between this guitar and a Schecter KM7.
Turns out that I couldn't choose so I got them both.
They are very different from each other though so they'll both have their place.
I'll post a NGD from that guitar soon too!

love that intro, gives me a gojira vibe. This definitely doesn't help my tele gas either.

    HNGD!

Not a day goes by without thinking about picking one of these up and throwing it in Drop F and a Schecter Garza PT-7 buddy to put in Drop A.

    Thanks!
I initially tracked this song with my Axe FX but the tones from those presets just weren't cutting it.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Axe FX but for this song, once I popped on Native I didn't have to do a lot to make it sound this way....
The OwnHammer IRs make a huge difference as well of course.

Made another video with this guitar.
I'm really in love with this thing.
It's a very inspiring instrument to play and it feels classy.
Bulky, yes, but very classy and brutal.
Anyway, I'm very happy with that outro:
