Damn it. That pisses me off.

I was reallllly hoping the Red Sunset would be like the Frozen Sky, though I guess, to be fair, the guitar lives up to the Sunset name. Looks like raccoon / zebra stripes.

Caparisons are by far the best guitar I've played, though once again playing factory made vs a handcraft is like a Civic vs a Ferrari.

Ah well, I ordered one and I'm stickin' to it :)

Are the colors brighter in real life? Looks a little low light in there. As for the "rays" of the sunset, are they a bright purple?

Thanks man, yeah I think it's really beautiful personally. I know it's not for everyone but I think it's pretty sweet. I had a Parker with a similar finish once.

The photos I took are pretty much representative. They're of course more vibrant and 3D in real life. The room wasn't that bright, but it's definitely how it looked to the naked eye.

Good stuff for sure. Is that the TAT II my friend ordered? I'm very excited to see what they do for NAMM this year.

Hey dude. Yes, one is for Zach of Sanctity, the other is for your buddy Will. Thanks :metal:

Yeah I'm intrigued by what they will offer at NAMM too. I do know they are discontinuing some of the 'Classic Color' finishes this summer. I'll be at NAMM this year so that should be fun :)

I think I saw anders bjorler of the haunted/at the gates play the Angelus HGS at some point. He also has a custom angelus with inverted crosses and another angelus with that weird gotoh bridge with fine tuners theyre using on some models

Yes he does. He originally wanted a Horus or two, but opted to snatch this as well. He has a '96 Red Sunset I believe. Zach's a dude who knows what he likes! Hah :yesway:

Cool. Yeah, the Angelus HGS sounds absolutely massive. It has a very heavy, thick, low-middy sound to it but with awesome bite too. The cleans have a very cool bell-like tone to them too, even on the neck pickup. It's very strange but I really like it. I really want to keep it

The other one you're talking about w/ the finer tuners is the Angelus HGS Pro w/ the flame top, like this:

zim, only 2 volume knobs and no tone knobs???

sketchy business lol. and only a 3way?

[action=budda] starts thinking up ways to mod it to 1 vol one tone and a 5-way switch wired like a C7 blackjack[/action]

That is correct. Two volumes, no tone, 3-way switch. Converting it to a 5-way (or simply using coil taps) would be very simple. :yesway:

    Thanks Joe :)

Anders sold his custom Angelus models, that's why he's just playing the standard HGS model now. A guy on the bmusic forum owns his white custom with the inverted crosses. He was trying to sell it a while back but I don't think anyone bought it.
