Is this satin gun grey and rosewood fretboard?
Your username reminds me of the cat from The Rats in the Walls.
The color is satin gun metal gray and the fretboard is ebony with less color variation. The ebony is not as smooth and fine grained as on some instruments, which disappointed me a bit but it's fine. Still looks great.
It looks more like an Ibanez than a Kiesel. I would love to see more of their guitars like this.
This is sick! Nice to see one that isn't over the top for a change.
love it man! There are so many solid simple options at your disposal in the kiesel range. Love the gunmetal grey. I've been thinking it would be sick to get a gunmetal grey multiscale 7 string tuned to open C over G as a tribute to ziltoid 1 era devin townsend. https://images-sc1.netdna-ssl.com/D/Electric-Guitar-PEV13-3008220-detailed-image-1.jpg
Sounds cool. Another color I was considering when specifying this one was British Racing Green. Pretty cool as well. With black hardware it would look really raw and army like.
cool looking guitar, it scream METAL !
This is legitimately the best Keisel posted here in YEARS.
b b b b but where's the magenta burl top with a giant-ass green bevel?!?!?!???!?!?!?!?!?!
For real tho nice guitar, simple and clean
But I gotss to has mah purple splooge burst over AAAAAAA grade unicorn dick wood with 19 contrasting laminates in the neck!!! If I don't do that, what's the point of getting a kiesel?
This guitar proves that Kiesel not makes ultracolorburlbeveld[insert everything you want] instruments, just instruments customers order.
I love solid finishes, and this one is great, really.
sleek and classy as hell man!congrats!
SUCH A COOL LOOKING GUITAR. Sleek, purposeful, wicked colour!!
Very nice. Can I ask you, when you tighten the locking nut do the strings pull sharp at all? I used to play a lot of carvin guitars and I always had to install a string retainer bar because the strings didn't make contact with the backside of the locking nut. If they have corrected this It would get me closer to considering a newer kiesel even with all the bad I have been hearing of late.n I do like the look of your guitar. Understated and classy.
Good Job! Id say welcome to the family, but im a Carvin guy..LOL
Without the headstock, I wouldn't even have known it was a Kiesel
Thanks man. Well I have only had the nut clamps off once, so I don't have a clear idea. From what I recall it wasn't a problem. The Strings doesn't exactly touch the back end of the nut though. See the attached photo to get an idea.
I'm curious. What bad stuff have you heard about Kiesel?
I actually have an old Carvin DC127 so I'm not new to the family. But thanks anyway.
