    the ones I played at GC were not worth the price imo. Sharp fret ends and the pickups sounded like ass (kind of muddy and has a similar cocked wah voicing like the juggs). I'm sure there are some good ones out there but the 2 that I played were definitely not worth

    Frets are nickel, yeah. The MM1s are decent, I liked them a lot less when I first got it, but I'm also someone who tends to prefer active, so it took some time to get used to them. I intend on replacing them with the Bareknuckles, if I'm honest.

    Yeah dude, the 57/66 set is killer. I've always been an EMG man (although the Fishmans on the SH-7 are grabbing me from every angle), but these are just so unique for actives.

    Yeah, definitely not the case with mine. The fret ends are definitely different, but the fretboard edges are rounded, which is a first for me. Not sharp, at least not on mine. The pickups are the one thing I'm changing; I don't think they sound bad at all, they're just kind of weak.
