Yay! I'm stoked as .... Anyone else stoked as ....? Especially for the features present here. I reckon they're going to take a more "true" metal direction this time (Rather than their usual deathcore). The Black Crown had some solid tracks, but I didn't like the scratchy guitar tone and the nu-metal-isms. The album art here reminds me of Suffocation s/t for some reason. Hopefully this album will rock! :hbang:

Sooooooooo excited! I honestly love every track they've released. And watching live videos on YouTube, Eddie is a damn fine replacement for Mr. Lucker.

If anyone is wondering about the album title; I believe the band said it was the title of a set of lyrics Mitch left behind. I'm very interested to see how the title track's lyrics differ from whatever Eddie writes.

My level of excitement for this album is ridiculously high.

And for anyone who wants to hear Eddie in high quality, here's him performing "Slaves To Substance" at the memorial show. Still waiting for Revolver to upload high quality versions of their set at Golden Gods 2014; all they've put up is them covering "Roots Bloody Roots" with Max Cavalera.

I'm beyond stoked to hear this album, and the cover of Hatebreed's "Last Breath" that is gonna be on the bonus edition! I always loved that song, and I bet Suicide Silence will definitely do it justice. :metal:

I've been super excited for this since Eddie joined! I can't believe Corpsegrinder is going to be on this too, it just makes the wait even harder! Most likely going to preorder :) and it seems like they re-recorded Ending Is The Begining, that will probably sound awesome with Eddie!

Just watched this video for the first time yesterday, was BLOWN AWAY by how well Eddie fits the vibe. Mitch will always be missed, but the future looks bright for SS!

Sounds awesome. Also I noticed Ending Is The Beginning made it on to a full length. I think they originally recorded it back in 05. Eddie is a beast he won't disappoint.

Heard "Cease To Exist" on Sirius earlier.

DAMN. Eddie kills it! Of course the band's Facebook is full of "not the same :(" bullshit, because kids are stupid. But those of us over the age of 18 who are SS fans all seem to be loving it. It's just the upturned straight bill hat kids who have a problem.

The guitar tone off the black crown is one of my favorites. And I'm looking forward to this album and seeing what their new singer has brought

Just heard the new track and all I can say is Eddie did a fantastic job! I knew it was going to be awesome but this is way better then what I was expecting! :) I absolutely love the guitar tone, seems super similar, if not the exact same, as what was used on The Black Crown. Really makes me want to write some heavy music! :hbang:

    All of this.

I thought The Black Crown had a spectacular guitar tone. I wanna go write now too.

Can I just say................................son, you dead. You've been stopped.

But hey, maybe Suicide Silence will take off post-humously like how Jimi Hendrix did, Kurt Cobain (or really just Nirvana's music) did, Frank Zappa did, etc. Many artists left a legacy that continues to live on until today. Shit, even Elvis, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and others who were taken from this world too early.

It's available on iTunes. I can't get enough of it.

I'm not gonna say I prefer Eddie's vocals to Mitch's; because even doing the same style, they're very different. What I will say is that I think Eddie fits fvcking perfectly!
