New Poweramp Day (ISP Stealth Ultra Lite)

    Oh, and to keep with the spirit of this thread, the Mosvalve poweramps used MOSFET output transistors. MOSFET transistors (and I think maybe JFET transistors) are special types of transistors that are current devices, where most transistors are voltage devices. This is one reason why poweramps with MOSFET output stages usually tend to be more dynamic and "tube-like" than other solid state power amps. Most of the better solid state poweramps are usually MOSFET based.

    :agreed: My Randall V2 hybrid was exremely tube like with the combination of a FET/tube hybrid design.
