This is pretty sweet guitar, for the price im assuming its going to go for (under $500??)

Basswood bolt on Alexi.. Those aren't fun, but how can you not say this guitar isnt sexy...

The price is $420 and the neck joint really isn't that bad, lol.

The necks are natural-finish in case you were wondering, I was.

I still don't understand his use of the EMG-HZ pickup, even in the $1000+ version of the guitar.

I had a guitar equipped with them and they suck.

Always wanted to try the real thing, but it's really way too expensive :)

I don't see the appeal of the Laiho model. It is way overpriced. You can get a real USA Jackson Rhoads and have a nice chunk of money left over. Or you could get a custom shop guitar (Jackson, ESP, whatever...) or even an ESP SV Standard.

If someone actually wants to pay 2500€ for some guys name, then of course they are free to do so.

    Ranting time is over.

I would be pretty damn interested to try out this model.

For the price it seems pretty cool too.

I used to hate V shaped guitars but for some reason I'm starting to think it doesn't get much more metal then having the V shape. Yes that's damn sexy one day I will own a V that's for sure.

I agree with the ESP Alexi being retardedly overpriced, but the LTD(400?) one is perfect.. If it came in better colours (a quilt top?? thanksss) I would definately take one

I love V's, and i liked the Laiho a lot. But i need a neck PU. And one thats not an HZ lol. Or else i might have bought it a long time ago. I played one at Sam Ash and if you can imagine a setup on it, it was a good guitar.

If I was looking for a V (that wasn't a Carvin heh) I would pick that up and swap the stock HZ for something else, put on some locking tuners and call it a day! :yesway: I dig the shape of his V, very nice! :metal:

I've heard weird things about the neck profile on Laiho's guitars, anyone have more info?

I don't personally see the appeal in non-symmetric (asymmetric?) Vs, but I know many kids who drool over the Laiho models. And from what I've heard, the cheap ESPs wipe the floors with the cheap Jacksons.

Ive only heard the Laiho necks are to die for.. I would love to try one out soon, we just got an ESP dealer in town last november so hoping they start stocking them instead of all Eclipses/hetfield and hammett models =[

The necks aren't asymmetrical afaik, just normal. The only like "weird" profiles are the Lynch and Mustaine.

Its a signature guitar. Alexi uses the HZ pickups, so thats why its in there.

    Re-read my reply.

I said I don't understand HIS use of it. Not that I don't understand why it's in the guitar.
