Bright hair, European and a chick. Awesome! Welcome! Sounds like you could teach me a thing or two about hardware and equipment!

    Welcome, Methilde :wavey:

So when it comes to recording, what kind of gear do you use? Are you like a solo artist who writes his own stuff by herself? Or are you in a band?

Haha, woah so much replies and a few questions too, I shall try to answer ;)

Azyiu: I use cubase sx3 to record my guitar stuff and EZ drummer for the drums ;) I have my pocket pod connected to the pc so I can directly record. I write all my own music and sometimes I work with bands as a session vocalist or get my nosy nose into my boyfriend's compositions with some new ideas. Sometimes he uses them, sometimes he don't ;) Would love to be in a band. When i finished about 5 testtracks I will look for some peeps to hit the stages with :D Andehh... don't mind the 'his' there, not a girly girl here ;)

Quartie: I don't know THAT much about equipment, my ex did and he taught me a thing or two, i can maybe pass that info on ;)

And yes peeps, it's an RG7420 eagerly waiting to be assaulted by me... MUHAHAHAHA!

Yay and thanks for all the warm welcomes ;)

That sounds nice. I used to use the M-Box, but I think it is too powerful for me and my computer can't really handle all the RAM required. So I am seriously thinking about going back to using something more simple or even console. (Used to have a Akai DPS-12 and I love it very much!)

So your music is instrumental or with vocal? I am under an impression that you only sing for your other band project or what not.

Well, I can make any music right now, but I cannot record vocals here at home, need $ for a decent mic still, hehe ;) So until now it is instrumental. The lyrics are all done though so they are ready to be sung and grunted (I don't grunt so I need someone for that)

Nice, can't wait to hear your stuff in the near future...

For some reasons while I know I can sing, I just hate singing... so almost all my stuff is instrumental guitar. ;)

Haha  You can say that, just that I am not nearly 1/10 as good as those Gods like Satch, Vai, Nuno, Petrucci and Brian May.

By the way, Satch's new album sounds interesting, but I thought it could've been even better. Songs like Asik Veysel and Andalusia both offer some good surprises at first; but I thought Joe spends too much time sticking to his trademark sounds and style instead of exploding new sounds. Maybe I am just too criticial for my own good ;)
