If anyone else follows them on facebook they'll know how often the band posts songs by some really brutal, obscure death metal and grindcore bands if that hints at all towards the influences going into the album.

All I know is, any band that sleeps like men and sweat like rapists mean they work REALLY hard on what they do.
Meaning I have high expectations for this album. I normally don't like to have high expectations so I can expect failure and be blown away and really like the album when I get it regardless, but I can't help but need to have a high expectation. They've grown so much inbetween each album. And since Knight has helped out more on this album, i'm expecting the level of maturity that they normally jump inbetween each album to multiply atleast tenfold.
Once June is here, it's on.

Awwwww yeah. I just found out about this like an hour ago.
I dig Knight, but the style kind of changed when he joined. Not that it's a bad thin, cause he's sick. I just prefer the stuff from Nocturnal, Miasma and Unhallowed when they had the other guy. More "core-ish" back then I guess.

Regardless. BDM is sick and I'm super stoked for this release!

I wish Knight was still in Arsis... that last Arsis cd sucked in comparison to WatN and I wonder if Knights leaving influenced that.

Last BDM album was totally awesome though, can't wait to hear it.

Yeah dude. I think Unhallowed is my favorite album. I love that solo too. The stuff on this album is easily the simplest out of all of thier albums, but I find the riffs to be alot catchier. I love the intro riff to Blackest incarnation. You hear just the guitar, and your all like "shit's about to go down" then everyone else comes in and your like "shit is going down."

I love their tour DVD Majesty. Just saying. The. Fuck. It.

Somewhere in an alternate universe, Arsis topped We Are the Nightmare, and TBDM released an alright cd.

TBDM always does these ninja recording jobs. They never have studio vids or even say they are recording. Or atleast i never see anything about it. I kinda like the strategy though

    Ya.
The only thing is this from their dvd:

I love Shannon's drumming, but I wish there was guitar, etc. ones. Like you said, its good to keep it a secret. But at the same time when a studio vid comes out, it creates even more anticipation.
