    Cheers!

Just got a kxk, mahogany wings, maple neckthru, d-activator 7 on a kahler bridge.

    http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/sevenstring-guitars/204217-ngd-kxk-sii7r-pic-loaded-purple-goodness-inside.html

I'm looking to route a neck pick-up, ideally a stacked humbucker, single coil size, humbucker sound, that goes well with d above specs.

I'm not sure if such thing is readily available for a 7, if so please point me in d right direction!

What do you think about a muy grande 7 single coil for this purpose?
    or
Seymour Duncan Custom Staggered SSL-5 Single-Coil 7-String Electric?

    Could use your expertise, thanks!

I read that post, but what I want is a tad different, I want an humbucker in a single coil suit, or as close to that.

I don't think I can get that pu in Europe, I just went through a customs don't wanna do that again.

Metale The sinner sounds great, 7 strings version?

Yeah, I checked with Tim when I was set on building an apex100 wannabe. Choose the Sinner, and when you get to the comments box, specify 7 strings. Feel free to check with them, as when I inquired black bobins were the only ones available.

Cool, that's a strong option, I was looking for white bobines but that's not a deal breaker.

I buy bkps through Mr Jack guitars you get a slightly better deal, Tim told to do so a few years ago.

Any words on d muy grande?

Nice, I haven't realised you are Portuguese too! Yeah, I buy bkps through Mr Jack Guitars too. I think Luis (the owner) also sells Lollars which also make 7 string singles, even tho I've been waiting for 2 months on a quote on those.

I've got a SSL-5 on a 6 string strat, and I think it is not what you want. Not humbucker sounding at all. Fat, yes, but very single coil sounding with a nice bite. Also, despite being an amazing bridge pickup, I never liked it as a neck pickup.

No experience with the muy grande, but it's description makes it sound similar to the SSL-5?
