Well i just recently traded my Fryette Ultra Lead away so i needed to pick up a new amp so this one was next on my list of amps to try:lol: Heres my new Rivera KR 7!!! :shred: First off this is kind've a tricky amp at first to eq, it has a bunch of push/pull knobs and thats kinda confusing at first but im starting to catch on to it. This thing has huge bottom end, its fuckin crazy, my first complaint was that it has this "grainy" gain sound to it but it just took time to eq out. It also came with a MIDI controller, thats pretty uncommon with higher end amp makers, usually have to spend around $500 or more for a midi controller so thats kinda cool. Heres a few pics of it:wavey:

Man that thing looks sweet. I played one the other day and it was killer. If it were me I would totally take off that seven plate though haha.

    Congratulations!!!
Nice to see another rivera owner on the board!
How does it compares with the fryette? What made you
selling it and buying another amp?
Also, I'm having a KR-55 which is pretty similar, n which settings
are you running yours andon which channels? Tried the loop trick?

Congrads dude!! Welcome to the Rivera club!! The KR's are great fucking heads and very flexible. When I got my KR100 I was amazed on how easy it was to dial in for "my" sound.

Congrats Mike, I'm glad it arrived safely and I hope you're liking it. If the amp has any graininess to it, that's just the V30s doing it's thing ;) The amp was designed with the G12K100s in mind, although it sounded amazing through the Fryette cabs here @ the store.

Hopefully you dialed it out though, like you said :)

I'd recommend throwing some JJ E34Ls in there btw! Those did wonders for the Pittbull CLX I have.
