I FINALLY OWN ONE! A PEAVEY 6505+, AND I PAID 500 FOR IT. I always wanted a 6505 variant ever since I became a huge fan of Motionless in White (yeah I'm not trve kvlt, sorry!). I scoured everywhere for a Peavey head and couldn't get a seller to contact me on every listing I tried. Reverb only had brand new, so I last resorted to Guitar Center. Had it shipped from TX to MA and it was so worth it! She's missin her logos and is a bit dusty, and maybe in new need of tubes but it is in great condition otherwise! Can't wait to plug this head into a cab and blast out some riffs!

Imgur doesn't work on SSO. Need to use a different site.

Congrats! I just picked up a 6505 head myself (not the 6505+). They're starting to come down in price. Interesting that you couldn't find one on Reverb because a few weeks ago when I was looking for mine I found no less than 30 of the 6505+ heads in the ~$600 range. It's much harder to find a non-plus version though.

Well I do see plenty on Reverb but I could only ever find brand new, used and out of my budget, or used and a non-responsive seller. If I'm going to buy an amp without being able to use it I have ALOT of questions to ensure I get something usable.

Congrats, I love mine. Consider changing out the bias resistor for a 5-7k 1/4 watt one. I changed mine to 5.6k and it really warmed the amp up.

I've had 3 of these, a block letter, and 3 5150 212 combos. All great amps, but the 5150 212 combo is the king for me. 5150II/6505+ comes in a close second. Awesome amps. HNAD!
