    Alright, just a quickie.

I've noticed that occasionally or frequently when i pick, (using Dunlop Jazz III's) the tip of my index finger is touching the strings, not horribly, but enough that i can notice that its touching the strings (not soundwise, just by feeling it touch the string). Is this bad? should I begin gripping the pick in a higher position?

I've also noticed that when i switch from the JD III's to standard size heavy picks, such as fenders, my fingertip is barely touching the string, if not at all.
Any suggestion on picks as well??

    :scream2:

i use jazz picks also, i dont think it is anything to worry about. if it is not bothering you than it probably will not do anything to hinder your playing. if its comfortable just keep doing it
