My bc rich

    Can't tell the age of my bc rich by serial number it's not stenciled like the rest of what I have seen

    All the US 7-string BCRs I’ve seen have the serial stamped on the fretboard after the last fret. The first two digits are the year. For imports, as far as I know, the serial numbers don’t have any meaning and they didn’t keep records for dates.

    Found out the searil numbers are 83006,correct me if I am wrong the first 2 numbers are the year it was made not sure about the the last three .Thanks for the previous help.

    so wait... is it not a 7? pictures would help. a 5 digit serial says usa or 80s nj series which makes absolutely no sense for those serials if its a 7 as they wern't even a thing till the 90s and only then as custom shop jobs. production 7's didn't come into the picture until the early 2000s and had a different serial system. we really need a picture.
