    Well i'm glad you asked!

To sum it up rather quickly....

Sustainer didn't fit, I started shaving inside of pickguard route, looking to widen it then redrill basically. So I do that, go to check if it was made wide enough, then snap. There goes the top corner of my pickguard, which is now being held in place by the neck pickup and pickguard screws. Could be worse.

What was the reasoning behind that?

I said "not sustainiac" at the end of the title.

Man, eBay's getting a tad ridiculous. Someone must be selling a Sustainiac and complained about it...

Maybe, but I can see why.

Say I want to find Ibanez guitars on EBay - I search for "Ibanez", but instead get 20 pages of the cheapest no-name guitars with "L@@K - guitar! not Ibanez, Gibson, Fender" in the title.

well even so, I see RGs for sale all the time and it says "not jem" or says "steve vai" and they don't get closed. The reason for doing it is because people looking for "sustainiac" or "steve vai" or "jem" might be interested in what you have, but wont search for it specifically.

I'm just being singled out because they saw one of the pics in my auction had a left handed guitar...:noplease:

    Sad world we're living in...

More importantly: SUSTANIAC DOES NOT MAKE A 7-STRING SYSTEM

How can he be yanked for listing another product in the title, when said product does not exist?

They've been doing that for ages. It was really getting out of hand, because people selling shit product were putting "NOT ROLEX, NOT MOVADO, NOT [insert high-end brand here]" into their auction titles and descriptions as a way of poaching potential buyers from other auctions. If i'm looking for a Fender, i don't want some cheap knock-off showing up in my search because it says "NOT FENDER" in the title or description.

It's kind of a shady way to get your auction to show up in searches for other products, which is why eBay frowns on the practice.

List it as Lawsuit, haunted or Project. People get away with those all the time!

Still, it's not a cheap knock off with a high end name in the title. It's an equivilent that is not offered by sustainiac, that people browsing for one of those could be interested in.

Oh well, I got my fees refunded. No harm done. Relisting after work ( and after getting drunk)

My point is, advertise what you are selling, not what you're NOT selling.
