most metal non metal song from your childhood
Whats the age limit? Because at 11 years old I heard Judas Priests 'Painkiller', Iron Maidens 'Fear Of The Dark'.
But most metal non metal song from my childhood?
Does Power Metal count?
yeah, i guess. lets put the age limit below 12
If I'm honest, I was listening to the likes of Deftones, Rage Against the Machine, Korn, Slipknot e.t.c by 10...
But actual hidden metal in games I used to play as a 7/8 year old:
(A rip off of Skin of my Teeth, Megadeth)
(A whole ton of things - some of the comparisons are a little dodgy but most are accurate, the Alice In Chains ones are particularly shamefully ripped off )
Come on. This has to be one of the most metal song for a anime
Probably Journey's "Separate Ways." Video games didn't really have music when I was a kid.
If you didn't hear these songs growing up, then you're from fucking Venus or something.
well music from a band, would have been Alice Cooper or Black Sabbath......dad raised me on music so I was well versed in a lot of older rock at a very young age.
as far as cartoon themes.....that would be Tmnt or probably GI Joe, or something along those lines....and video games.....the Mega Man games had some killer music.
this song was made before i was alive, but it is the first song i have memories of listening to, and the first music i owned was the screaming for vengeance cassette
I remember being in grade 5 with my tape player in the school yard blasting Spit It Out by Slipknot and thinking it was the most awesome shit.
Probably either of these two:
Shut the hell up, Les Mis is metal in the extreme. Kind of symphonic power metal. Russell Allen would make a badass Valjean.
When I was a little kid they didn't even have video games.
And the first video games that came out were like pong and space invaders and asteroids.
But when I was 5 years old I heard frankenstein by the edgar winter group.
It was all downhill from there.
