So I'm trying to write out some drums for a guitar pro tab that only has guitar and bass. One thing I wish I could really do, is somehow take that guitar or bass midi, and change every note to the kick, since a lot of the kicks are in sync with the guitar and bass. Obviously I wouldn't keep it like that, but it'd save a lot of time and just give me a basic idea of where a lot of the kick placements are.

Basically I'm trying to find a much more efficient way to turn this:
    Into this:
I'm usually not this lazy but my roommate just recently picked up the sticks to his drum kit again and has trouble learning songs by ear so I'm writing out a few songs he likes to help him out!

Yeah... I usually just copy and paste the whole drum midi to the bass midi, delete all the symbols and keep the snare and kick or whatever midi you wanna match, and then just fine tweak from there for the notes you want.
