Tomorrow I pickup my Mark V combo. I am unbelievably stoked (so much so I'm making this thread now rather than tomorrow). I managed to get one of the very first produced. Anyways tons of pics when I get it tomorrow as well as a review. Clips will follow soon after that. :woot:

AWESOME! :metal: Try to make a few metal clips/vids if you can man, I'd love to see if it can do it even better than the Mark IV can. :D

Since I'm off to college this fall a 1x12 combo made the most sense especially since I'm mainly a studio type of guy. I can always hook it up to various cabs if I want to anyways. But I've never played a Mark that didn't sound fantastic so why even bother.

Wow this amp has completely blown me away. Channel one alone has the best cleans I've ever heard on a mesa and is incredibly versatile. Channel two can go from a hotroddded marshall tone to a gritty Mark I (which can get suprisingly heavy with the eq). Channel III is amazing capable of all sorts of guitar tones. By far has some of the best rthym metal tones I've ever heard. Looks like this will be my rthym channel. channel two on Mark I setting will likely be my lead (super creamy and smooth leads). Cleans I'm still not sure which I'll primarily use. Each channel sounds absolutely fantastic. I doubt I'll really ever record with another amp. It's simply that amazing. Even quiet on class A/B with variac power it still has fantastic tones. Haven't gotten the chance to crank it yet to truly see the potential of Channels II and III.

Also the foot switch is genius. Everything about this amp is well done. It truly is the best Mesa ever made.

Pictures and a full review will come in the next couple days. I can't find my camera or I'd have pics right now.
