Links to source on massive copy/pastes?

    It seems like there's a growing trend to copy/paste massive articles from other websites and use them as a post. Rarely is the source listed, so it verges on plagiarism and the original writer gets squat.

    Any chance of having a rule to include at least a link back to whoever/wherever you lifted the article from?

    On most other forums there is a rule that you can only copy/paste a small excerpt from the article then requires a link to the original piece. Probably a good idea. :yesway:

    if you're going to neg me with nothing more than "WTF", at least have the testicular fortitude to post and say why you think it's a bad idea.

    I fail to see how ripping off someone's article is any different than taking credit for a song they didn't write, or a picture they didn't paint.

    Please help by reporting the posts that don't comply with listing sources. :)
