Here is an example of the optional flame maple top:

He's not grading the flame on this, since it is just a short run. They'll all be similar to this, though.

Your choice of opaque or trans color finishes, with a shiny clear coat.

Cost: $1499 plain top ($700 deposit), $1799 flame top ($900 deposit). Shipping is $40 CONUS, $120 to most countries.

just wondering, can you change the controls, like, only have 2 knobs instead of 4?

Let me ask him about that, since drilling two less holes seems easier.

I normally don't really like KxKs but that looks really cool, looks like a very friendly joint and good access as well.

    Thanks

cool :yesway: although I have no money right now  oh well, the $700 deposit isn't too bad, but I don't think I could swing it, I'll see how it goes. When is this offer ending?

OH, and can we get the selector switch down with the knobs? I should have just asked that to begin with...

You know, Rob hasn't given me one yet. He's shooting for fifteen orders, so I think this is going to be a first fifteen in the door kind of thing.

Noodles, does this guitar have the same body thickness as a Les Paul, or is it the standard body like the Sii-7? I only ask because it has a 3/4" cap.

BTW, maybe it should be called the Tii-7, with the T standing for "traditional."

Rob sent me the body depth, and it is in the other e-mail, so I'll have to get it to you tomorrow. It is thinner than a Les Paul, though. Adding the maple cap will subtract from the mahogany on the guitar, so it will be the same depth as you see in the pics.

This run has not started yet. Rob had a problem involving his paint booth and the San Diego government, and if you live California, you probably already know how this works. He put this on hold while he sorted things out.

I'll let you all know when this is back on track, probably in a month.

Sandy Eggo ruins everything worthwhile. :realmad: But it keeps the water clean so Im not complaining. (Too much).

Hope it's not holding up business.
