I thought I'd get a pic of my KxK's together and afterwards thought ya'll might like to see the size difference between the three. Not the best pics but whatever. The two on the left are 27" scale, the one on the right is 25.5".

nice collection. It is kinda cool to actually be able to see the size difference between 25.5 and 27 side by side like that

Looks kind like my family! I've got a black Warrior V with the Karl headstock, old style DC7 and Sii7. Great pics!!!

Man I love the 7DC too. It kinda reminds me of a PRS. It balances like one anyway.

Might-is-Right, You should post a family pic of yours. I know you've got some nice ones:yesway: BTW, I finally checked out your band. Very nice! Some brutal stuff:metal:

I think it's the first time I'm seeing a 7DC in a straight shot. All pics I'd seen so far were angled, which makes it hard to visualize the exact dimensions.

That said, it looks simply amazing. It also reminds me a little bit the double cut Warriors, though I like the 7DC better:

EDIT: if I had the cash, I'd pull the trigger on the spalted maple which is in stock. Btw, KxK could seriously use a better site, huh?

EOT - what a freaking collection.

I'm really torn if I want my next custom to be another KxK or a VIK. VIK was quick to get me a quote, I've been waiting on Rob for quite a while. I want a 7DC limba body & neck, curly maple top & pale moon ebony or zirote fretboard.

    How's that V balance out?

I mentioned to Rob that I'd love to revamp the site....

The V is definitely neck heavy. But with a sticky suede strap its quite manageable. I actually really like playing it. I can play it lower and just tip the neck up and hook the lower point under my leg. It's pretty comfortable that way.

I asked Rob about pale moon ebony but he couldn't find any big enough. So I'm going with ziricote on my 8 he's building.

VIK is making some really good looking stuff. I have one ordered but probably won't see it for a year or so.

How long ago did you get a quote for an 8 & what are the specs? The only KxK 8 I've seen was the Grape Ape.

Now I may have to get one from him too if he's still doing 8's.

Actually he's phasing out stuff that requires custom cases as G&G has been terrible at fulfilling small quantity orders in a timely manner. You'll notice all of the new models fit into standard guitar cases.
