One interesting thing to note is that Munky based his newest LA Custom Shop off Jake Bowen's RGA models.

I hope everything is OK with Head. He seems a bit all over the place.

Munky's face when he realized Bogner originally did Marshall mods, and the fact he might actually have a Bogner-modded Marshall...

EDIT: I wonder when he uses the Orange heads? Thought he was using them full time?

He seemed ok to me. He has alot of nervous energy (and dreads are the original fidget spinner) but I thought he was communicating fine and didnt seem out of it or anything.

It was fun watching this, thanks for sharing Akira.

Thanks for sharing. The vid is so positive. The guys went through some serious $hit and still enjoy music.

I've never really liked Korn, but this is a damn cool video. Love hearing guys just being real and honest about gear/tone, what they do, little bits about their mindset that they have in regards to how they achieve "their" sound and such. You can pick up SO much just by how a guy reacts to a question and information they may not be familiar with......

    Awesome......

I love Korn's guitar sound. It's thick and dirty and human. The 25.5 is important in that I feel, and the medium output pickups.

Munky: I play the guitar and the engineers move all the mics and stuff til I like it.
Munky: I put a Seymour Duncan in this... I don't know which one.

Head: I don't know so much, Munky's the technical guy.

    Loving the vid!

You've seen the ninja turtles cartoon right?...well think of Head as the Michaelangelo of the band and I'm sure things will make sense.

Remember when Michelangelo quit the Ninja Turtles, gave rambling, manic interviews in which he was proud to say he had daily crying fits, and started dressing as Jesus after he got off meth? And how then he went broke, rejoined the turtles, and a fan commented on how they hope he’s alright, and some other turtle said “Think of him as that fictional human guitar player from Korn”, and how reassuring it was?

i admire how these dudes just focus on playing the music they want to do and genuinely have no clue about gear, tone chasing, whats "hot" whats not etc etc.

They just basically go I need a 7string guitar and dont really care what pups or amp I have. It makes sound, thats all I need.

    Lets go.

Even the tech had no idea what he was talking about.
I honestly believe they're messing with the interviewer. I could buy what Munky said but Head can actually shred and is a bit a of a gear nerd afaik.

glad to see they're still using guitars from the old days, like the white hardware guitar, I wonder what happened to the one with paw inlay?

I want Head's Sir Headly signature or Ola's Washburn EverTune model. I'm excited to see what Ola does with his own guitar company though and hopefully EverTune is included in some models.

The simplicity of this interview was great. lol

Head in this interview reminded me of that scene in Metallica's "Year And A Half In The Life..." documentary where Slash is telling Hetfield how he doesn't understand how the standby switch on an amp works.
