Anyone have experience with both profiles and able to comment?

I love the EndurNeck on my OS8 but the fit and finish per dollar seems much higher on the Vader. Now that Kiesel is doing multiscale, the neck profile options are my last remaining question.

i've had 2 dc7x but i didn't really like the necks. They are ok if you like slightly thicker necks. doesn't feel anything like the enduraneck.

I was not aware that Kiesel is offering an asymmetrical neck profile, but I have a Boden Metal 8 and I understand what you mean when it comes to bang for the buck.

At the same time, the specs are nice and there isn't really much offered in the realm of 8 string headless guitars.

The new 2017 Strandbergs have an upgraded/thinner neck profile from what I understand. I've not touched the older OS8 models to know how much of a difference it is.

as far as I know kiesel doesn't offer an asymmetrical neck profile on their current models. The vader's neck is more of a D shape and the strandberg is basically a trapezoid shape. Personally I find the vader neck more comfortable.

My bad. I could have sworn I read a review somewhere taking about it, but sure enough, no options on the site.

    Question withdrawn.

Marconi Labs has an asshatmetroid profile as an option on their headless EGO guitars.

They make you an asshatmetroid guitar as well.

Overload guitars has their own version of the trapezoid neck as well. It looks pretty good.

The newer Strandbergs (Roasted Maple OSs and 2017 models) have a much thinner neck. The previous version felt like a baseball bat on the lower frets.

That's a good change. I like a beefy neck but that was just uncomfortable to me.

They offer one on some of their basses, I believe...or at least did at one point.

The playability and quality on the new 17 Os's has been pretty stellar, dare I say as good as you'll get from Kiesel...

I've played the new OS with the roasted neck, and EMG's dunno which line it is. It was built really well, didn't see any blemishes. Fit and finish was nice. The tuners were really stiff though but I've heard that's a common problem.

I have a Carvin JB200C Really like the neck, but I won't lie and say it's miles better. Gorgeous woods but in terms of fit and finish I can't really say it's superior. It has more features, and the finish is nicer IMO. But thats just because I prefer it.
