Hi guys and girls, I did a cover of the shreddy kind, check it out:

Played in standard tuning, I did the bass and rhytm guitars with programmed drums.
Guitar sounds are my Jackson Broderick Soloist 7 with a Seymour Duncan Black winter 7 into a tubescreamer into an Engl Powerball I channel 3 and 4 into a Two Notes Torpedo Captor for both lead and rhythm guitar. Bass is a Warwick $$ mix of the powerball's crunch channel and a DI with a bass cap sim.

Some minor mistakes here and there, but I am not Jeff himself, so nailing his phrasing is quite the pain, so I hope you can forgive these!

Sound wise I am not totally happy with the lead tone, maybe those should have been through my 6505 instead?

Feedback both on video and audio quality and ideas how to make it better is always welcome! :D

Sounds cool! I don't have the prowess to try a Loomis track but good effort.

Did you do all the solo in a single take? There are a few mistakes but the tone you've gone for is quite unforgiving. It sounds like it could a bit hotter or more open.

Yeah the lead tone should probably be different, but this is how it turned out ,maybe I should try reamping it.

Yes the song is a single take or rather three full takes ,one for each camera angle ,as I only have one camera. I edited two of the takes together to create the final take and yes there is still mistakes here and there .

    Thanks for the feedback ☺
