Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Ibanez RG 7 string, RG 7420 body and RG 7620 neck.
As you can see in the pictures, a previous owner refinished the body with a wonderful flamed maple veneer top. The refinishing job was done great, the body is smooth and looks just as good as any professional job you'd see. The guitar has Dimarzo D Activators in the bridge and neck position (wired to a 3 way switch). The guitar will come with an Ibanez hardshell case and of course a tremolo bar.

The previous owner who refinished this guitar posts on there, his name is romper_stomper and here's a link to the thread he posted about the refinish he did. http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/pickups-electronics-and-general-tech/93956-how-to-costom-top-and-stain-your-guitar.html

Feel free to ask any questions and I'd be happy to supply more pictures on request. Thanks!

Modifications (if any): A previous owner refinished the guitar and it has Dimarzio D Activators in both the neck and bridge. The guitar currently has a licensed floyd rose in it as well.

Accessories (hardshell case etc): Ibanez Hardshell case, tremolo bar.

Location (City,State or City,Country): Naperville, IL

Thanks for the offer. The MH-307 is tempting since I am an ESP/LTD whore, but I'm not a fan of floyds. I gave the floyd a chance again with this guitar but nothing beats the feel of a TOM to me.

Damn that is one gorgeous guitar. I wish i had the cash since ive been looking for an RG7620 for awhile now. I would settle for this since the 7620 neck is the main thing im interested in.

Anyway bump for a sick guitar! :D

I'm presuming the neck is straight… what's the condition of the frets like?

I spent more time on the neck then I did the body, polishing, and leveling the frets.

having owned this guitar i can say it plays phenominal...i recorded all our band's stuff on it (i had a bareknuckle and q tuner in it at the time). the trem is INCREDIBLY stable and easy to restring.
    BUMP for a guitar i miss:agreed:

Thanks for the compliments and the thread bumps!

romper_stomper did a great job with this guitar, the neck has a lot of life left in it. The neck is straight and the frets are in great shape, the action is fairly low right now and I've had no issues with buzzing on the guitar.

Actually I do not have the single locking trem on there anymore. I had trouble getting bigger strings in the saddle for the low B so I changed it over to a double locking licensed floyd rose. I got the strings I want into the new trem, but it still felt like a floyd rose. I tried but nothing beats the feel of a TOM for me.

BUUUUTTT, I know a lot of people on here like floyds! :D

Man, I'm diggin this guitar real bad, but three things slightly turn me off from this

1- floyd rose (of course blocking it will solve that issue)
2- neck is not 26.5" scale like I'm used to with my schecters.
3- I'm in Canada, duty will be rape

But that's my free bump to a gorgeous guitar!

I think the RG7420's originally had the 7620 neck but the later models had the 3 piece neck.
